The Beginning of Invie
Invie began as a simple event-creator tool.
Its purpose was clear: to help people share dynamic event information—such as changing itineraries or start times across time zones—through a single, reliable link.
How Invie Has Evolved
Over time, the project grew beyond events.
In the early version, invitation links only displayed an account name, which raised questions about authenticity. To build trust, we introduced public profiles. Instead of exposing accounts, users can now create dedicated profiles with their own name, bio, avatar, banner, and social links—giving every invitation a stronger and more genuine presence.
The Problem
The internet is crowded with noise—spammers, trolls, bots, and bad actors who drown out genuine voices.
Social platforms struggle to manage this, and as a result, online communities often suffer.
Our Solution
Every account on Invie is verified and tied to a real individual.
From that private account, users can create multiple profiles—for work, for family and friends, or for gaming and online communities. The account itself remains hidden; only the profiles you choose to share are visible. This combines authenticity with flexibility.
Safeguards and Accountability
Verification alone isn’t enough. That’s why Invie includes built-in reporting and accountability systems.
If a post, page, or profile is reported, the notice first appears on the profile’s dashboard, giving the user 12 hours to review and resolve the issue. If ignored, it escalates to the linked account with a 72-hour warning before moderators step in.
Multiple reports in a short time fast-track this process, ensuring harmful content is dealt with quickly while still giving users a fair chance to respond.
Our Vision
We aim to make online spaces safer, clearer, and more human.
Invie is about reducing noise, strengthening trust, and giving people more control over how they present themselves online.
Accounts vs. Profiles: The Distinction
👤
Accounts
Accounts are the foundation of Invie. They are:
- The minimum requirement to use Invie, created with a unique account name and password.
- Eligible for verification to unlock features such as creating profiles or interacting with others.
- Permanently tied to their owner and not transferable or shareable.
- Completely private and never displayed publicly.
👥
Profiles
Profiles are optional. They are:
- Flexible - some users may only want to browse and enjoy content, while others prefer to create and share.
- Unique, with the option to carry special privileges and belonging to different communities, giving users freedom to shape their presence online.
- Customizable, allowing for different visibility levels:
- Private – visible only to people you specifically allow.
- Protected – accessible only to verified, logged-in users.
- Public – open to everyone, even without logging in.
